I hold an MA with commendation in International Relations, Conflict and Security from Northumbria University (2020–2021), where I achieved a distinction on my dissertation 'Cybersecuritization: A Critical Discourse Analysis of the Securitization of Cyberspace in the European Union, 1993-2021.' Since graduating, my interests have grown beyond cybersecurity and into the realm of AI and digital harms. Last year, I presented my research on AI as a securitizing actor in the 2024 European elections at the 28th IPSA World Congress of Political Science in Seoul, South Korea.

In my work, I bring experience across academic writing, editing, and research dissemination, developed through roles as Editor at the European Studies Review and Assistant Editor at Review of Democracy, where I reviewed manuscripts, conducted reference checks, and supported early-career researchers to publishable standard. My background in policy analysis and research stems from my time as Policy and Strategy Officer at Wokingham Borough Council and Democratic Services Officer at Bracknell Forest Council, where I conducted horizon scanning, synthesised consultation feedback, and authored strategic policy briefs for senior leadership. As Lead Project Officer for the Bracknell Forest Community Governance Review, I organised stakeholder consultations and worked with print media, including producing press releases and coordinating quotes for local newspaper coverage.

As Communications Officer at ReportOUT, I manage the charity's social media content, rebranding, and external communications, including newsletters and blog content for the website. My work spans conference materials and branding as well as advocacy storytelling, where I focus on communicating indivuals' personal experiences with care and impact, balancing emotional resonance with the clarity and accuracy the subject matter demands.
